We're back!

It's been a long time. Santa was really good to all of us! New Year's was fun! The weather has been very snowy and very cold this year so far! The kids love sled riding and love getting two hour delays and cancellations! WE watched the Super Bowl lastnight! What a game! I'm not a huge football fan but that was a great game!! Yeah Steelers! Here is some pictures from our halloween party! I can't believe we are in the month of November already. Only 47 more days until Christmas!! The kids better start making their list for Santa. I can't wait to decorate and put up our tree. I already bought the kids their outfits.

Finally - pictures!

Well here are the pictures I've been meaning to post. The first picture is of me and Kassi the morning of The Great Race! (along w/some neighbors) Yes, I ran/walk the 5k.... My goal is next year to run the whole thing! The second pictures is of Kassi and Connor is Central Park! They loved it! We had a really fun time. The park was beautiful! And finally, the last picture is at the bus stop on the first day of school! We have been busy with school projects, homework, and after school activities! Time flies by when your having fun!!!

It's been a while since my last post.... Our computer crashed while we were in New York City! I really didn't realize how much I depend on the Internet. Thank God my husband knows a thing or two about computers but let me just say it was the longest two weeks of my life!! Anyways, our trip to the big apple was so much fun! We enjoyed ourselves so much we are going back for Thanksgiving! I can't wait until the big Macy's Day Parade! I'm praying that it's not too cold! My ideal temp would be in the 60's but I would settle for 50's or maybe high 40's!

The kids adjusted well to their school schedules. Connor really likes 1st grade and Kassi says 3rd grade is OK!! I have pictures of the first day of school to post and some from our NYC trip but I'll do that later! Have a wonderful day!

The last few days of Summer!

We are getting ready for a quick trip to New York City. Dave has to be there for work so me and the kids (excluding Andy) decided to join him for three days. Hopefully, I don't get us lost in the big city! Wish us luck! I will post some pictures when we get back! One more quick note, this picture is of Kassi and her friend Carter. He passed away exactly one year ago today. We miss you Carter!

Connor's Party

This past weekend we finally had Connor's birthday party. Better late than never! It seemed like everyone had fun. We had kids games, pinata, sponge race, balloon toss and the limbo. Even the adults did the limbo which was allot of fun. (don't worry I won't post any pictures of the adults doing the limbo)

Less than a month til school. I'm not looking forward to it. I'm not looking forward to the cold days walking to the bus stop either. It just seems like such a long cold winter. We do like to sled ride and we love christmas but other than that I wish summer was all year. Maybe I'll win the lottery and move to Florida or Hawaii and get the kids a tutor. Ok i'll stop dreaming!

We're back!

The beach was nice! The weather was great! The kids had a fun, but I'm glad to be home! There's nothing like sleeping in your own bed. I told the kids that their summer was half way over. School would be here before you know it! They didn't want to hear it. Soon we will be school shopping. I know I'm such a party pooper to bring up school in the middle of July! I just can't believe it's already July 21st! Anyways, we are home. No more vacations planned - how depressing. Have a wonderful week!
