We have a pretty low key weekend. The only thing we have planned is a family "baby shower" to attend tonight at one of our neighbors! It should be a fun time.

This week there has been allot of talk about dying. My childhood neighbor has lost her husband at the early age of 44. He died early Saturday morning . The autopsy results are not in yet but they are pretty sure he had a heart attack. His wife did try to revive him and the paramedics but he was already gone. He has two daughters the oldest one 4 and the youngest only 18 months. It really makes you think about life. I can't even imagine the pain this family is going through and the rough road that lays before them. May God watch over them and grant them strength!

On to a lighter subject. Connor got his star wars action figures yesterday. I picked him up from the bus stop and we headed to Toys R Us. He wanted everything! Kassi also picked up a hot pink chair for her room. She could have easily bought the whole store! I always dread going into a toy store. They could spend hours in there and spend a ton of money. If you could only see our play room - you can't even walk in there! (I guess most of you have)

Anyways, Dave is done w/putting down the wood floors. (the hall, dining room, living room and the play room) Now all we need to do is pick an area rug for the dining room and paint living room, dining room and play room. Our construction is almost over.. The kitchen is complete! It looks really good. Dave did an awesome job! I should post before and after pictures. Maybe in the near future!

Not too much to report here at The Stiles House. Kassi is fully recovered from the flu. She was sick all last week w/ a fever. Hopefully, no one else gets sick! Connor's new thing is Star Wars! Yesterday, before school he told me to buy a Star Wars action figure . I did go to Walmart and looked but they only had these really tiny storm fighter guys. So I didn't buy any - well when he got off the bus he couldn't wait to see what I bought for him. "Mama, I can't wait to see my surprise!" When I told him I didn't get him anything his little face scrunched up and he started to cry..... So I guess today I'll be searching for Star Wars figures! Not too much new w/Andy. He goes to school and then to work or he hangs out w/his friends.

The Countdown to Disney has began! Only 57 more days! We can't wait! Kassi will be celebrating her 8th birthday in Disney! I already made reservations for a character dinner to celebrate her birthday! We did that when Connor turned three and it was a really fun time! This time my sister and her family will be going w/us.

This is one of my favorite pictures of my nephews. I had to pretend I was taking a picture of the sunset because they didn't feel like getting there picture taken.....

Anyways, the kids have a two hour snow delay today. I was looking forward to sleeping in some but Connor's internal clock doesn't notify him of the delay. That boy doesn't require much sleep! I guess he takes after his dad! Kassi is still sleeping. (8:30am) But then again she has been sick for the last six days w/the flu. I'm hoping she wakes up and is fully recovered.

Well hopefully we can do some sledding today after school. Unless the rain comes and melts the snow. I'm dreading the dressing part of sled riding though. It always seems like it takes longer getting them ready to go out in the snow then we actually play outside. (I know I'm the one complaining that I'm cold and the kids probably get sick of hearing me and just want to go in so I stop!)
