Summer Days!

The kids been out of school for a week now! We have been to the wave pool only once so far! The picture was taken a few weeks ago at our friends lake house in Mercer, PA. They absolutely loved it! It was too cold to go into the water.

This week has been nothing but dr's appt. I schedule a drs appt for Kassi because she has dry skin on her one arm but they day before her appt. she hurt her toe falling off the balance beam. I figured while we were there the dr could look at it. It turns out she broke her big right toe!

Connor has been playing w/Justin and Tyler. Climbing trees, playing in the dirt and riding bikes. It so nice to have my nephews only three doors away!

Summer is almost here!

I can't believe it's been almost a month since my last post. We have been pretty busy! School is almost out! Only 6 1/2 days left! The kids are very excited. I'm looking forward to it too. I have some pictures to add later of Kassi at soccer, Connor at t-ball and Andy going to the prom.

Kassi has her second grade send off on Friday. I can't believe she will be moving to the intermediate school already. I'm volunteering to scoop ice-cream for her party. That should be fun!

Connor had a great year in kindergarten. I was worried that maybe he wasn't ready but he proved me wrong. I remember the first day of school. I was devastated that my baby boy was gone all day. I cried at the bus stop when he left! I was sad when Kassi started school but I had Connor to keep me busy so it didn't hit me as hard. I know my sister is going to be a basket case when my youngest nephew, Ty, goes in the fall. It wouldn't be so bad if it was only a 1/2 day but it's all day! They leave around 8:20 and don't get home until almost 4:00. And the kids on the bus are really bad. The first week of school Connor got off crying. Someone punched him in the face. I was furious! I called the school but they already knew about the situation and the kid was already in trouble. I worry about them everyday.

We have lots planned for the summer already! Myrtle Beach, the wave pool, the zoo, Kennywood and maybe Idlewild too!

We're back! Disney was great. We hit all four Disney parks. Needless to say we are all exhausted but it was all worth it! Connor's favorite part was battling Darth Vader! I think he will remember that forever. Kassi had a wonderful time. She is our little dare devil. The faster the better for her! Every roller coaster she has her hands up! Andy had a great time too! I'm sure there were a few times when he was bored but he was a trooper. I put together a slide show of our Disney Vacation. Everyone is welcome to take a look. Take Care

TGIF

TGIF! We have no big plans this weekend. Connor has t-ball practice tomorrow morning and Kassi has her first soccer game. Of course the times conflict so I will be taking Kassi to her game and Dave will be w/Connor. Dave's coaching t-ball this year w/my brother-in-law. Both my nephews, Justin and Tyler, are on the team as well. They should have lots of fun! Hopefully, it doesn't rain or it's not too cold!

Happy Spring!

Hello! I know it's been a while since my last post. We are keeping busy w/swimming lessons, soccer and soon to come t-ball. And the big countdown until Disney! Only 21 more days! The kids are very excited! (ok, I'm probably the most excited) I can almost see it now, walking down main street and seeing the castle for the first time! I get goose bumps just thinking about it! Oh, and I can't wait until the parade and the fire works! That's my favorite! This picture was back in July of 2005. This was their first time meeting Mickey. They both are in shock! My sister and her family are going w/us. We reserved a 5 bdrm house w/a private pool. My nephews have never been to disney yet so we should have lots of fun!

Easter Memories!

It's been a whole week since my last post. It's been a long week too! Connor was home sick from Monday - Thursday. He had a fever, earache and strep throat!

Today I did some much needed shopping. I got the kids their Easter outfits and some Easter gifts. I'm going to try to have the kids sit on the Easter Bunny's lap sometime this week. This first picture is Connor's first Easter! I loved that hat on him. You can't tell but Kassi's dress matches his sweater vest. Every year I try to match them but I swear it gets harder as they get older. This year they will be wearing Yellow!! The second picture is Kassi's first Easter. If you look closely you can see her crying but if you look even closer you can see she is holding a golf ball. She loved golf balls. She would carry them around all the time! We thought maybe she would be a pro golfer when she got older! lol....

TGIF! Not too much to report. Same old, same old..... School, homework, some play time and then bed time ( oh and mom watching a bunch of reality TV- you name the reality show I'm sure I've watched it. I can't help it -they suck me in!!!)

Spring is just around the corner which means I'll be driving around after school to all the practices... Soccer, t-ball and gymnastics. I'm not complaining at all. I love to go and watch especially games on Saturday mornings! (unless it's cold then I will complain some!)

Connor loves to get together with the neighbors. We have about six families who love to hang out w/on the weekends. It's usually the adults in the kitchen drinking and eating while the kids run around and act crazy. (Kassi love it too) But yesterday morning Connor said "We should have a party on Saturday" I asked what are we going to celebrate and he said "Well, I've been thinking that since they didn't have cell phones in the 1800's we should celebrate because we have cell phones now"

So if we have the neighbors up for some food and drinks I guess they need to bring their cell phones too! Kassi and I think he's a little nuts! But Kassi thought it was a good idea too since she would love to hang out w/some friends!
